This is a mid-1940s Omega chronograph equipped with the renowned Cal. 33.3 CHRO movement, housed in a stainless steel 37 mm oversized case — a highly sought-after configuration.
It features the legendary Cal. 33.3 CHRO, Omega’s large 33.3 mm chronograph movement based on Lemania’s famous Cal. 15 TL.
Although it is a non–water-resistant model, the presence and visual impact of the large chronograph movement give it an unmistakable sense of substance. The beautifully aged two-tone dial exhibits a rich vintage character, with an excellent patina developed over time.
Among the many dial variations of the 33.3 CHRO, this example is particularly rare — a silver two-tone dial combining printed and applied indexes, which has aged gracefully to a greyish tone over the decades.
