1940s E.Gubelin Cal.95 "FB" Water-resistant 3register-Chronograph Breguet dial with Snail design

This is a chronograph watch from the 1940s, equipped with the Movado Cal. 95 movement, made by Gubelin, featuring a "FB" 33mm waterproof three-register chronograph with a matte white Breguet dial and a snail design. The base is the highly popular Movado Ref. 19018. It features a screw-back waterproof case made by FB, the same company known for the Patek Philippe Ref. 565, housing the Movado Cal. 95M movement. The dial is designed with a matte white base, applied Breguet numerals, an outer blue tachymeter, a snail blue tachymeter, and a mechanical three-register chronograph, making it a top-tier design. The 33mm screw-back case with its cylindrical design adds to the solid feel, resulting in a beautifully compact and refined aesthetic. Chronographs from Movado are extremely rare, as most Gubelin watches produced by Movado are time-only models. It comes with a Kreco expansion straight bracelet, accommodating wrist sizes up to 18.5cm.
