1930s Tissot, equipped with the renowned Cal.15TL.
Stainless “Staybrite” 37mm oversized chronograph with a highly rare black porcelain dial.
Even among Tissot, Lemania, and Omega models fitted with Cal.15TL or 33.3CHRO, the black porcelain dial is exceptionally rare. It features bullet-shaped indexes paired with long sword hands, along with a prominently arranged snail tachymeter—an elegant design evoking the charm of the early chronograph era. Despite being of non-waterproof construction, the substantial Staybrite case and the one-button early version of Cal.15TL highlight the remarkable vintage character unique to the earliest 15TL chronographs, making this a truly valuable piece.
The dial shows only minor scratches and light aging around the periphery, and considering its production period and rarity, it remains in excellent preservation.
