A beautiful example of the 3rd generation Omega Seamaster 300 Ref. 166.024, manufactured in the late 1960s.
The 42 mm screw-back waterproof case features a twisted-lug design and a Bakelite bezel, along with a screw-down crown. It is powered by the Omega Calibre 565, which is equipped with a date-change function (first crown position for time adjustment, second position for instantaneous date correction).
With its highly legible matte gilt dial, this Seamaster 300 embodies both the distinctive design and practical functionality characteristic of the era.
Overall preservation is very good. The 42 mm twisted-lug screw-back waterproof case retains its original shape well. The Bakelite bezel shows minor scratches but has no cracks. The matte gilt dial, whose luminous material has aged attractively over time, is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or stains.
The watch comes with a custom bracelet fitted with an original Omega buckle, accommodating wrist sizes up to approximately 19.5 cm. Although custom, the bracelet is constructed very similarly to the original and pairs beautifully with the watch head.
