A very rare 1940s Alpina “Tretacche"-style 28mm screw-back waterproof model with dotte dial.
This is a unique piece that features a stepped case design and a three-point screw-back waterproof case, reminiscent of Longines’ “Tretacche” models. It showcases craftsmanship similar to Longines, such as the last two digits of the case number being engraved on the inside of the lugs.
The triangle emblem, composed of a circle and triangle without the “ALPINA” name, along with the dotte indices and small seconds track, give this compact-sized watch a strong visual impact through its distinctive dotte dial design.
The condensed feel unique to a 28mm screw-back waterproof case is also one of its appealing characteristics.
