This is a rare, unpolished Fortis triple calendar moonphase model from the 1950s, featuring the sought-after Valjoux 90 movement.
It houses the rare Caliber 90, a modified version of Valjoux’s legendary Cal. 23 chronograph movement—well-regarded among chronograph manufacturers—enhanced to include triple calendar and moonphase functions.
The dial layout is beautifully balanced, with the day and month displayed at 12 o'clock, moonphase at 6 o'clock, and a pointer date around the outer track. The high-quality silver dial, adorned with applied indexes and dauphine hands, combined with the elegantly rounded case, offers a refined and luxurious presence.
Being in unpolished condition makes this a particularly valuable and collectible example.
