This is a beautiful 1940s Movado “Sport” waterproof model featuring a silver dial with blue applied Breguet numerals, housed in a water-resistant case made by FB (François Borgel), the same case maker used by Patek Philippe. It is equipped with the hand-wound Cal.125 movement, which includes an anti-shock device.
The relatively large 34mm FB case—larger than typical Movado FB cases—along with the mushroom-style crown and the silver dial with applied blue Breguet numerals, showcases a stunning design reminiscent of the Patek Philippe Ref. 565.
The watch is in excellent preserved condition. The blue applied Breguet numerals retain their beautiful hue, and the screw-back waterproof case shows no signs of wear or thinning. This piece is not only highly practical and stylish but also recommended as a collectible gem.
