Manufactured in 1954, this Rolex Oyster Bubble Back is an extremely rare late-period model, believed to be one of the final iterations of the Bubble Back, based on the unique case number and case back engravings.
The dial features the highly sought-after "Explorer design", with applied small crown markers and propeller-style hands. The powder white dial, which shares design elements with semi-Bubble Back models from the same era, beautifully reflects the aesthetics and vintage charm of the time.
Adding to its rarity is the unpolished case, which is exceptionally uncommon for Bubble Back models and greatly enhances its collectability. It also comes with the original expansion tapered bracelet dated to 1959, making this a truly exceptional piece.
