This is a beautiful 1966 Patek Philippe Ref. 2461 in rare wide rectangular form, featuring a silver dial and an 18K yellow gold case.
While seemingly simple at first glance, the wide rectangular case—measuring 22mm in width, 42mm lug-to-lug, and 19mm between the lugs—offers a commanding presence, with the solid gold case exuding a rich and weighty feel. The high-quality silver dial is adorned with applied indexes and baton hands, showcasing the refined vintage aesthetics unique to Patek Philippe timepieces of this era.
The overall preservation is excellent. The multi-faceted rectangular case retains its sharp edges, and the dial remains protected under a thick enamel coating. Housed inside is the in-house Caliber 9-90, considered one of the finest vintage rectangular movements ever made.
The watch comes with an Extract from the Archives and the original buckle. This is also a double-signed piece, co-branded with Hausmann, the prestigious Italian jeweler.
