1930s IWC Cal.87 Rectangular Rare Black Applied Arabic Dial with Gilt Logo

IWC, Cal. 87, rectangular, rare black gilt dial with applied arabic indexes with logo, circa late 1930s. The gently curved rectangular case is equipped with International's famous Cal.87 rectangular movement. The dial is a black gilt dial with embossed applied Arabic numerals, one of the few black dials with luminescent or printed indexes, and the rarely seen gilt logo further enhances the rarity of this piece. In addition to the beautiful black gilt dial, the three-dimensional Arabic indexes and the sub-seconds are attractive features of this watch.
