A 1940s Oyster Watch Company “Junior Sport” with a two-tone dial.
At first glance, the dial appears simple, yet it features a minute track and 60-minute scale around the outer edge, with a mirror-finish circle on the inner section, creating a compact and well-balanced design. Despite its modest 30mm size, the robust Oyster case with a large crown gives it a presence that feels larger than its dimensions suggest.
It comes fitted with a Cromwell-made straight expansion bracelet (wrist size ~19cm), allowing the wearer to fully enjoy the vintage charm of the era. With dial designs shared with Rolex and the same rugged Oyster case construction, the Oyster Watch Company offered excellent cost performance and practicality for daily use.
