Manufactured in the 1960s, this is a Zodiac “Sea Wolf” Ref.722-966B Diver Automatic Date model with a black mirror dial. The black mirror dial with luminous paint and the bakelite rotating bezel capture the spirit of the era, while the well-aged patina gives the piece a superb vintage character. Despite offering 200m water resistance at the time, the crown is not screw-down. Instead, the case and crown are designed with a slight constant gap; when the crown is pushed in, the date can be set, and when pulled out one step, hacking seconds and time setting are possible. The dial condition is excellent, with the black dial retaining its beautiful gloss, and the luminous paint has aged evenly over time.
