Manufactured in the early 1940s, this is Breitling’s masterpiece “Chronomat” Ref.769, 1st Generation, a rare 18k pink gold model with a black dial. While most Chronomats are seen with steel cases and silver dials, this rare piece features an 18k pink gold case paired with a black dial. Despite being a non-waterproof 36mm case, it offers the substantial presence unique to solid gold, with the black dial retaining a beautiful luster that exudes a luxurious character.
