Manufactured in the early 1930s, this Rolex Oyster Bubbleback is an extremely rare first-generation model featuring a silver big luminous Arabic dial.
It is equipped with the self-winding Cal. 520 movement, which has operating instructions engraved on it, and housed in Rolex’s historically significant early four-piece waterproof case — composed of the bezel, middle case, caseback, and movement holder.
The silver dial with a rail track minute scale, large luminous numerals, and small seconds subdial exudes the charm of the early era, while the large crown, unique to the first-generation waterproof case, beautifully reflects the character and aesthetic of its time.
