This is a beautiful 1940s Cyma “Sport” stainless-steel model featuring a rare waterproof clamshell tonneau-shaped case and a black circle-finish gilt dial. It is an uncommon rectangular waterproof watch, equipped with a four-screw clamshell case and a flanged crystal.
Fitted with the rectangular Cal. 364 movement with shock-protection, its practicality is greatly improved compared to earlier non-waterproof rectangular models—truly worthy of the “Sport” name.
The dial is exceptionally rare, with all elements—including the logo and “SHOCK ABSORBER” text—executed entirely in gilt technique, and featuring a circular-finished center section. The black dial retains a beautiful gloss, and the stainless-steel case preserves its distinctive shape well. Overall preservation is excellent, and it comes with its original strap, buckle, and tag, making it a truly outstanding piece.
