This is a late-1940s Rolex Oyster Bubbleback Ref. 4919 in a yellow gold and stainless steel combination case, featuring a matte white Arabic dial. The Ref. 4919 succeeded the engine-turned Ref. 3372, with the bezel design changed from flat to a gently sloped profile.
The matte white dial, beautifully aged over time, is crafted to a high standard, combining embossed gold applied Arabic numerals with gold leaf hands. Together with the two-tone yellow gold and steel case, the watch exudes a refined and luxurious presence.
