Manufactured in the early 1940s, this is a beautiful example of a rectangular Omega featuring the Cal. T17, with a step-design case and a rare black gilt Roman dial.
It is powered by Omega’s iconic rectangular movement, the Cal. T17, which represents one of the brand’s most distinguished shaped calibers.
The dust-resistant, double-structure rectangular case measures 22mm in width, 40mm in length, and has an 18mm lug width, offering a relatively large and well-balanced presence for its era.
The dial features an elegant, linear design composed of Roman numeral indexes paired with baton hands. The step-design rectangular case, along with the glossy black mirror finish and iridescent oil-slick patina remaining across the dial surface, further enhances the individual beauty of this rare and exceptional timepiece.
