The stainless steel case—uncommon for Patek Philippe—was produced by FB (as with Ref.1463 and Ref.565). Its screw-back waterproof case with dustproof construction shares the same 30.5mm size as Ref.96, yet offers a more substantial and robust presence on the wrist.
