Manufactured in the 1930s, this is a masterpiece Rolex “Prince” in 18K yellow gold, housed in a Brancard case, featuring an extremely rare black sculpture dial.

Among Prince models, the flared-shape Brancard case is one of the most sought-after designs. Solid 18K gold versions were produced in relatively small numbers, and this example stands out further with its rare black dial. In particular, the sculptured indexes—seldom seen even among black dials—display a remarkable sense of period character and refined taste.

Additionally, the crown emblem at the 12 o’clock position, which is only occasionally seen on Prince models, further enhances the rarity and desirability of this piece.

The original black dial remains in excellent condition, retaining a beautiful black mirror-like gloss across the surface, with no deterioration to the printed elements.

An original 18K yellow gold buckle is included.
