A valuable, unpolished example of the Movado “Acvatic” from the 1940s, featuring a stainless steel Art Deco two-tone dial.

It is housed in a waterproof case manufactured by FB (François Borgel), a case maker also used by Patek Philippe. The distinctive case, with its intricately faceted lugs, offers a strong presence typical of FB cases despite its smaller size, while retaining the original character unique to an unpolished piece.

The two-tone dial showcases an Art Deco design combining Arabic numerals and square indexes, which have developed a superb vintage character over time.

The Acvatic model was produced in two sizes with the same design: Ref. 11629 (30mm) and Ref. 11729 (28mm). This particular example is Ref. 11729, allowing you to fully appreciate the compact charm unique to the 28mm size.

It is powered by Movado’s in-house Cal. 150MN movement.
