Late 1940s production, a Longines Ref. 5965 flyback chronograph powered by the renowned Cal. 30CH, housed in a 14K yellow gold case. This is a rare example featuring round pushers.
A unique piece from a transitional period when both round and rectangular pusher versions existed under the same reference, it stands out further as an uncommon 14K solid gold case—most 30CH models are typically found in 18K—enhancing its rarity even more.
The dial features a silver two-tone base with a blue tachymeter scale, and a highly intricate design combining applied Arabic numerals, dot markers, and baton indexes. Paired with the substantial yellow gold case, it presents an exceptional sense of luxury and refined vintage character.
Longines’ in-house chronograph calibers, equipped as standard with the flyback function, are masterpieces that were fully realized in the history of watchmaking, and they will undoubtedly continue to be appreciated and passed down for generations.
