An early 1940s International Watch Company watch, equipped with the renowned Cal.83 movement, this is an extremely rare and valuable unused piece featuring a 35mm oversized case and a salmon dial with applied numerals.
At a time when most IWC watches were around 30mm, this model stands out with its uncommon 35mm oversized case. It houses the celebrated small seconds Cal.83, one of IWC’s most iconic movements. The dial is equally rare, featuring a salmon color with embossed applied Arabic numerals, making this not only an oversized model but also a piece of exceptional quality and condition.
The salmon dial shows virtually no signs of aging, and the unpolished oversized case further enhances its pristine, unused appearance. It is accompanied by what is believed to be a period-correct vintage strap, as well as an original box from a later period.
