Manufactured in the early 1930s, this Omega chronograph is powered by the Cal.28.9CHRO and features an 18k yellow gold cushion-shaped case with a rare four-color scale dial. Among the already scarce cushion-case models, this example is especially unusual for its solid 18k yellow gold construction, and it houses the early single-pusher chronograph movement Cal.28.9CHRO.
The dial is intricately executed with a matte white base and four-color scales, while the seemingly unbalanced recessed sub-dials create an exceptional vintage character unique to early chronographs. As an early example of the 28.9CHRO introduced in 1932, this is a particularly high-grade and collectible piece.
