Manufactured in the 1930s, this RECTA features a stainless steel 30mm cushion-shaped case and an exceptionally rare sector Roman dial. Among the already scarce sector dials, this example is particularly unusual for its combination of Roman numeral indexes, blued steel sword hands, and a two-tone dial design. Despite its compact 30mm non-waterproof case, the cushion-shaped stainless steel construction gives the watch a strong sense of volume and presence, beautifully capturing the character and aesthetic of the era.
The rare cushion case also demonstrates impressive attention to detail uncommon for a lesser-known brand, with the last three digits of the caseback serial number repeated on the mid-case, further highlighting the quality of its construction in the same way as the finely executed dial.
