Manufactured in the 1930s, this Jaeger-LeCoultre rectangular Art Deco model in stainless steel is powered by the in-house Cal. 410 movement and features a rare black dial.
The beautifully designed rectangular case, shaped to sit comfortably on the wrist, exemplifies the elegance of the Art Deco era. Equally striking is its black mirror dial with white lettering, produced before the widespread use of gilt dials, giving the watch a distinctive period character and exceptional vintage appeal.
Inside is the manufacturer’s own tonneau-shaped Cal. 410 movement, finished to a high standard with attractive Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève) and beveled edges. While the case measures a modest 22 mm in width and 37 mm in length, the substantial 19 mm lug width provides a stronger wrist presence than its dimensions might suggest.
For collectors who are concerned about the size of rectangular watches from this period, this piece is also highly recommended as a first vintage rectangular wristwatch, offering both excellent wearability and authentic 1930s design charm.
