An early-1940s International Watch Co. (IWC) rectangular model fitted with the renowned Cal. 87 movement, housed in a Staybrite stainless steel case and featuring a rare black Roman numeral dial. Combining Roman numerals arranged in a roulette-style layout with elegant baton hands, the scarce black gilt dial exemplifies refined Art Deco aesthetics. The thick rectangular case, distinguished by its flat, faceted surfaces, further enhances the watch’s striking geometric design, composed entirely of clean straight lines that beautifully capture the spirit of the era.

The watch remains in excellent overall condition, and the double-signed dial bearing the name of the prestigious Swiss jeweler Türler adds an additional layer of rarity and collectability. Powering the watch is the celebrated Cal. 87, one of the finest rectangular movements ever produced by IWC.
