A fine example of a 1930s “WALSER WALD” pendant watch featuring an Art Deco silver dial.
Its uniquely designed celluloid case and the beautiful dial, with Arabic numerals arranged in a roulette-style configuration, perfectly embody the character and refined taste of the period. The reverse side features a display (skeleton) back, allowing the owner to fully appreciate the beautifully finished Juvenia-manufactured movement within.
The watch is further distinguished by its remarkable state of preservation, including a dial that shows virtually no signs of age and a rare celluloid case free from cracks, both of which greatly enhance its appeal.
“WALSER WALD” is believed to have been a jewelry retailer located in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
