Manufactured in the 1930s, this Viking Doctor’s Watch features a popular Art Deco two-tone dial.
Its dial design, which places special emphasis on the display of the seconds, along with its rectangular case, is reminiscent of contemporary Rolex Prince models. Together, these elements beautifully capture the character and aesthetic sensibilities of the era.
Although the case measures a slender 18 mm in width, its impressive 40 mm length gives the long rectangular case a strong and elegant presence on the wrist. The watch is powered by the rectangular Cal. 401 movement, distinguished by its attractive matte-finished construction.
Combining refined Art Deco styling, an elongated rectangular form, and a movement designed specifically for the case, this timepiece is an excellent example of the doctor’s watches that were highly regarded during the 1930s.
