Manufactured in the 1960s, this Bucherer Diver Automatic Date features a glossy black dial. Equipped with a rotating bezel, crown guards, and a screw-back waterproof case, it is paired with a luminous black dial that evokes the unmistakable character of the Rolex Submariner.

Unusually advanced for its era, the watch is fitted with a screw-down crown and a quick-set date mechanism (the date is adjusted by pulling the crown to the first position, while the second position is used for time setting). These practical features reflect the high standards of functionality and ease of operation expected from Bucherer, one of Switzerland's most prestigious and long-established luxury watch and jewelry retailers. As such, it is highly recommended as a vintage timepiece suitable for everyday wear.

The dial is in outstanding condition. The glossy black mirror finish has been beautifully preserved, and the surface still exhibits an attractive iridescent patina, creating a subtle rainbow-like oil-slick effect under the light.

Powering the watch is the reliable ETA Cal. 2783 automatic movement.
