Unlike the chronographs for which Universal Genève is best known, this watch is fitted with the uncommon center-seconds Cal. 265 movement. The case employs an early dustproof design, similar to those found on contemporary Omega and Jaeger-LeCoultre models, in which the movement is housed and removed from the caseback side. The dial is equally impressive, featuring a rare three-dimensional layout with applied Arabic numerals complemented by applied dot and baton indexes.
