Manufactured in the 1960s, this Tradition "500" Super Waterproof model features a beautiful original black unique dial in excellent condition. It is housed in an EPSA compressor case—the same type of case produced by Ervin Piquerez S.A. and famously used in iconic dive watches such as the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris and IWC Aquatimer—and is powered by the reliable A. Schild Cal. 1430.
The highly distinctive dial exhibits a compact, well-balanced design, with luminous elongated hour markers and centrally positioned Arabic numerals, while the hour and minute hands evoke the appearance of the famous Tudor "Snowflake" Submariner. Although produced by a lesser-known brand, this watch is a hidden gem that successfully combines practical functionality with attractive design.
The watch has been exceptionally well preserved overall and retains its original cross-hatched crowns, whose distinctive grid-patterned finish was designed to provide improved grip—a signature feature commonly associated with EPSA compressor cases.
