A 1940s Ulysse Nardin Staybrite with a square design and a two-tone dial featuring applied Roman numerals. Although there are minor storage-related scratches and signs of age, this is an exceptionally rare, unused example, complete with its original period leather strap and buckle. The approximately 30mm Staybrite case has a strong presence despite its compact size, thanks to its stepped lugs and distinctive square design. The two-tone dial is particularly impressive, featuring an outstanding layout of applied Roman numerals and dots arranged within a square configuration. In addition to its remarkably well-preserved condition, the watch also possesses a highly appealing and distinctive design. It is powered by a Peseux Cal. 330 movement. Despite being a historic brand founded in 1846, Ulysse Nardin vintage watches of this kind are rarely encountered on the market, making this a particularly scarce and noteworthy example.
