Manufactured in the mid-1940s, this exceptionally rare and unused Longines wristwatch is fitted with the in-house Cal. 27M movement and features a 35mm stainless steel case with a silver two-tone dial.
The silver two-tone dial, beautifully complemented by blued steel hands, features printed Arabic numerals alternating with engraved dot markers. At first glance, the stainless steel case appears simple, but closer inspection reveals a sophisticated stepped design along the case sides and lugs, showcasing the thoughtful craftsmanship of the period.
The slim bezel allows for a generously proportioned dial, giving the watch a striking presence despite its well-balanced 35mm diameter. Combined with its remarkable state of preservation, this is an outstanding example of mid-1940s Longines design.
Inside is the manufacture Cal. 27M movement, distinguished by its beautifully executed beveled finishing. Accompanied by its rare original strap, integrated buckle, and original tag, this is a highly collectible timepiece.
