Manufactured in the late 1930s, this fine Omega Art Deco pocket watch features the renowned Caliber 38.5LT1, housed in a rare Staybrite case measuring approximately 50mm in diameter, and is distinguished by an exceptionally rare black gloss dial.

The unique Staybrite case is designed so that the watch can also be used as a desk clock, adding to its distinctive appeal. Inside is Omega’s 38.5mm Caliber 38.5LT1.

The beautifully executed black gilt dial, produced using the gilt technique, showcases the distinctive aesthetic of the era and makes this a particularly rare and desirable pocket watch.

Other details

Case: While there are some minor scratches and signs of aging, the original shape and volume are well preserved. The stand is stable with no wobble.

Dial: There is a slight scratch at the 3 o'clock position in the center of the dial, but overall, the dial is in excellent condition, retaining a rainbow-colored oil film across its surface.

Movement: Winding and other functions work without issue. The accuracy is within a daily deviation of approximately 30 seconds.
