This is a description of a vintage watch from the 1940s. It is a Monoratrapante chronograph with a Bovet Val-84 movement, housed in a 38mm stainless steel case with a rare gray tachymeter dial. The case is an early version with a "step" design, big pushers, and snap-back waterproof feature, known as the "Elmetico" case.Unlike most Bovet watches with a simple black luminous dial, this watch has a unique gray-gilt base dial with black, gray, and gold circles, and includes a tachymeter and telemeter scale. The dial's design is condensed and embodies the aesthetics of its era, with beautiful color combinations. The watch also features a Monoratrapante chronograph Cal.84 made by the Barjuh company, which is specific to Bovet watches. The watch's heavy and intricate design, combined with its creative movement and unique gray dial, make it a great item for watch enthusiasts.
