This is a beautiful example of a 1940s early-production "FAREX" chronograph, featuring the renowned Valjoux 23 movement and the rare "Ermetico" snap-back waterproof case. The snap-back case, equipped with large pushers (also known as "Ermetico"), showcases the robust construction characteristic of early waterproof designs. Among the scarce black dials, this piece stands out with its rare pink lettering. It is powered by the legendary Valjoux Cal. 23, a movement adopted by prestigious brands of the same era, such as Patek Philippe and Rolex.

Despite being from a lesser-known brand, this chronograph is an exceptional find for collectors, boasting outstanding design and quality. The watch is in remarkable condition, with a beautifully glossy black dial that exhibits an iridescent oil-slick sheen across its surface.
