Heuer, chronograph, Val. 23 powered, stainless steel, rare gold cap, mint condition, circa 1950s. Gold capped vintage watches, which are rarely seen in the watch market, is powered by one of the famous movements Cal.23 by Valjoux, that was used by many brands such as Rolex.?The combination of gold and silver case sides, the small pushers, and the champagne colored two-tone dial with dauphine hands are unique features of this period.?It has been wonderfully preserved, with an iridescent oil film and radium luminescence on the dial, and the case shows no signs of detachment of the gold plating. It is a collector's item with an original leather strap and buckle.
