Manufacturer ROLEX
Model PRINCE "CLASSIC"
Year of Manufacture 1920s
Reference no. 1862

Price
Around 1920, solid gold was mainly made of 9k gold (about 25% gold, 75% other materials), and 18k gold (about 75%) was only available in a few high-end models. Most of the Prince dials were silver matte, and there were far fewer pink and black dials than in the 40's. Among them, black dials are quite rare. The dial is engraved except for the logo, and gold powder is poured into the dial to add contrast. The dial is engraved with everything but the logo, and gold powder is poured into the dial for contrast.

Other details

Case: The case is in pretty good condition except for the top of the case, where the front edges have naturally fallen off in places and lost some of their sharpness, but the engraving on the side of the case and the reference and serial on the back are still clear. Dial: The dial has lost some of its luster, but is still in very good condition with no scratches or stains. Movement: The movement has not been touched by human hands for a long time, and the accuracy is quite good for this age. (It is fully adjusted.)
